Youth development constitutes a foundational and strategic undertaking for China, with profound implications for the nation’s long term future. The draft outline of the 15th Five-Year Plan clearly states that, to achieve high quality development and technological self reliance and self strengthening, it is essential to enhance the quality of youth human capital and align their skills with the country’s needs; to achieve better living standards and a higher level of social civility, it is necessary to create more opportunities and space for young people to participate broadly in social development; and to build a Beautiful China and solidify the national security barrier, successive generations of youth must sustain their efforts and take proactive actions.

In alignment with the national strategic plan for youth development, AMTD Group and the AMTD Charity Foundation have consistently made youth affairs a core priority. They continue to invest resources in youth training and further education, broaden channels for young people to participate in social development, and are committed to creating positive value for their growth and future development, thereby serving Hong Kong SAR and contributing to the country through concrete actions.
