The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU) and AMTD Group Company co-signed a strategic partnership memorandum announcing to establish AMTD FinTech Centre of PolyU at PolyU’s 80th anniversary

On December 7th, 2017, the 80th-anniversary celebration dinner of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU) was held in Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center. The event has accommodated over 2000 local and overseas guests including government officials, business partners, students and staff and alumni. Mr. Calvin Choi, Chairman and President of AMTD Group, was invited as Officiating Guest. Other Officiating Guests include Ms. Carrie Lam, Chief Executive of HKSAR, Mr. Paul Chan Mo-po, Financial Secretary, Mr. Michael Wong Wai-lun, Secretary for Development, Mr. Patrick Nip Tak-kuen, Secretary for Constitutional and Mainland Affairs, Mr. Nicholas Yang Wei-hsiung, Secretary for Innovation and Technology, Mr. Kevin Yeung Yun-hung, Secretary for Education, Mr. Wong Kam-sing, Secretary for Environment, Professor Sophia Chan Siu-chee, Secretary for Food and Health and Mr. Carlson Tong, Chairman of the Securities and Futures Commission.
