AMTD International (NYSE: HKIB) Successfully Lists on the NYSE
New York, Aug 5 2019 – AMTD International (NYSE: HKIB), Asia largest independent investment bank, successfully listed on the New York Stock Exchange (“NYSE”). AMTD is the first Hong Kong home grown financial institution and the first Asia independent investment bank to list in the States. AMTD International has a market capitalisation of over US$2B following a successful US$200M IPO, making it one of the top 5 independent investment banks listed on NYSE, as measured by market capitalisation. AMTD International's IPO was priced at US$8.38 with an offering size of US$200 million. The Day-1 share price performance ended with a more than 20% uprise from IPO price and achieved a market capitalisation of US$2.3 billion. The ticker of AMTD International is HKIB, denoting "Hong Kong Investment Bank". AMTD International conducted its investor roadshow across Hong Kong, US, and the Middle East, with strong appetite from international capital markets. The offering was priced at high end, following a multiple times oversubscription, as internationally renowned institutional investors, Hong Kong tycoon families, corporate investors, asset management firms and international hedge funds all actively participated in the subscription.
